Porous Polymer Networks

Porous materials constructed from strictly organic molecules have become especially popular owing to their ability to retain their structure and pores upon exposure to water, pressure and high temperatures; conditions that are often encountered in real-world applications.

Like MOFs, the designable nature of these materials has been demonstrated to be highly advantageous in a wide array of applications such as gas storage, chemical separations, catalysts, chemical sensing, chemical protection and drug delivery.
